One half of Styxmen, Dead Ott is an emcee and producer from Oxford, UK. He has been rapping and recording now for over a decade crafting and creating his own original stamp on the home-grown Hip-Hop sound. As part of the duo Styxmen his first release was back in 2003, before Dead Ott released his solo debut album ‘Stories From The Frontline’. Now a decade on from his debut release and hot on the heels of this years ‘Styx & Bones’ by Styxmen, Dead Ott is back with his brand new EP ‘Dead To The World’.

This EP is the first volume of a trilogy of new releases all planned for this year. This EP is produced entirely by D-O and is a diverse six tracker. The other half of Styxmen, Prophit, joins him on the verbals for ‘Back Again’, while ‘Show Me The Way’ features the vocal talents of a well known Oxford songstress going under the alias of Little Girl. All the tracks were produced at Flow Po Row during 2011 and 2012 and where recorded, mixed and mastered by UK legend Chemo at Kilamanjaro Studios in March 2013.

The next EP will feature beats from Dead Ott’s favourite producers including Chemo, Runone and many more, so make sure you be on the lookout for an emcee that is already causing a stir in the underground rap movement.
